Goals – Week 50

Last week:

  • Publish 3 blog posts
  • Train at the gym OR do a mobility session 5 times
  • Finish Christmas shopping
  • Make my blog available to others

Well… that didn’t happen the way I wanted it to.

I *did* go to the gym once, and did a mobility session once.. and then the week got away from me.  To be honest, I don’t think I considered how many days were left in the week when I made that initial goal, because I think I would have had to do something every single night to accomplish it.  (Yes, I realize I *should* have done something every night, but that’s not the point here!)

What was I actually doing this past week?  Well, we DID manage to finish our holiday shopping, and got everything wrapped and under the tree.  I worked the weekend, and then we pretty much hibernated the rest of the time because the sun came out and it dipped down to -30 windchills, and I’m just not about that life.

And yes.  I realize that the one goal that was supposed to be the hardest – releasing my blog out into the world – was actually the easiest to accomplish.  And I also realize the irony in posting about my goals for the week, putting my blog out there.. and then disappearing.  Shush.  If you’re expecting a perfect blog.. you may as well quit while you’re ahead.

Realizing that it’s already late in the day on Thursday, this week I want to:

  • Publish 3 blog posts (hey, I’ll be finished 2 after this one.)
  • Kick this cold’s butt
  • Write kind notes to 3 people!
